ABS as a professional Ballet School concentrates on classical curriculum until the fundamentals have become solidly fixed within the muscle memory of the nervous system. Our goal is to establish a foundation of solid, secure ballet technique.
The syllabus of America’s Ballet School is based on the classical Russian tradition and is enhanced by contemporary dance forms and ideas, to enrich the life of our young dancers by providing great teachers, choreographers and professional performing opportunities that will leave them with wonderful memories for years to come.
The
opportunity to watch and share the stage with professional ballet
dancers gives the students the inspiration needed to sustain years of
training. One valuable aspect of studying at ABS is the opportunity to
gain stage experience in works created especially for them. Performing
improves coordination and sharpens one’s mind; it also instills
confidence, discipline and determination.
Parents are a very
important part of our School and are encouraged to become involved. We
couldn’t accomplish it all without wonderful volunteers, supporters,
and financial sponsors. ABS has an open door policy and parents may
contact the school with any question they may have. Thanks to all of
