We offer our students the opportunity to have experience on stage every year. America's Ballet School's promise for a high-quality dance education includes learning choreography and presenting it on stage to show the students' development in the art form as well as their new knowledge of the particular classical production they are performing.
Don Quixote June 15th at USF
Every June, we present our end-of-year performance with all ABS Students.
This is a great opportunity for the dancers to perform together, and show the audiences how much they have learned and improved. Our productions are full-length ballets from the classical repertoire, and everyone gets a chance to perform.
We usually perform at the University of South Florida - Theatre 1.
*Performance fees are required for every student to perform. These fees include one costume rental and additional rehearsal times.
Our past performances
ABS is proud to have performed different classical ballet productions, such as Coppelia, The Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella, Alice in Wonderland, Don Quixote, and more. Every year, we teach our students the importance of keeping the classics alive, and at the same time, this adds a great experience to their repertoire.
The Sleeping Beauty 2013
Alice in Wonderland
Dans Le Jardin
Even when ABS is not a competition school, sometimes our advanced students want to get the competition experience. We believe it is good for their resume and their overall careers.
Our students have participated in several competitions, such as the Youth America Grand Prix and the American Dance Competition. ABS is proud to have won several awards, including First-Place Prizes with Soloists and Pas de Deux Divisions as well as within the Ensemble Division with our DanzEnsemble.
